Heritage Angel Award. The Smithy is shortlisted August 2014

20th August 2014

Beaumont Brown Architects have nominated Limestone Landscapes Partnership for an English Heritage Angel Award for their contribution in rescuing The Smithy at Hetton le Hole.

As as a result of our nomination, Limestone Landscapes Partnership has been shortlisted for consideration for an Award by Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and his panel of judges, as well as English Heritage followers and Daily Telegraph readers.

That means that The Smithy is one of four shortlisted finalists for Best Rescue of a Historic Industrial Building.

The Limestone Landscapes Partnership has done such a lot to promote the rescue of heritage buildings and preserve and promote our historic landscapes in the North East and we really believe their  work in our region should be celebrated.

And as architects for the restoration and conservation of The Smithy, we really pleased to be associated with the chance for such a prestigious award.

To win we need public votes and if like us, you think it’s a worthy contender, you can cast your vote here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VJSGRJ8

We’d be really glad of your help in getting Limestone Landscapes the award.
